The Boys’ Story

The boys arrived in June 2025 after their time at a university program in BC came to an end. Thankfully a group of great humans advocated and supported their move into sanctuary. We held a big fundraiser to pay for their new shelter and their transportation from BC to here, and we are forever grateful to everyone who was involved in helping making this happen.

Since arriving, they have grown so big! They integrated well into our big cow herd and now spend time in 20 acres of pasture, enjoying the shade of the trees and meeting people on our cow therapy days. They are thriving in their lives and live free from harm.

On any other circumstance these boys lives would have been brutally ended shortly after the university program. Taken from their mothers just hours after their birth they spent weeks in a ‘care’ program before coming to TAS. Here, they found healing, safety, love, and family.
